About Our Curriculum
We are currently using the Praise Factory curriculum Deep Down Detectives developed by Connie Dever and in partnership with 9 Marks. This Bible-based, doctrinally-rich curriculum is designed to teach children foundational truths about God through songs, stories, catechism questions, and hands-on activities. Unit 3: What Is the Gospel?
In our current unit of our HBC Kids curriculum, we’ve been exploring the most important question anyone can ask: What is the Gospel?
Our goal is to help children not just hear the good news—but understand it and remember it. We do this through joyful songs, motions, Bible truths, and simple teaching tools that bring the message of salvation to life.
This unit introduces four foundational truths that summarize the entire message of the Bible:

This unit introduces four foundational truths that summarize the entire message of the Bible:
- God – God made us and calls us to obey Him.
- Man – We have all sinned and deserve God’s judgment.
- Christ – Jesus came to take the punishment for our sin and rise again in victory.
- Response – God saves all who turn from sin and trust in Jesus as their Savior.
