💧 Ready to Be Baptized?
What is Baptism?
Picture
Baptism is a personal act of repentance from sin and faith in the resurrection (1 Peter 3:21) where a believer declares: "I'm done living for myself. My sin deserves death. But I believe that Jesus died for me and rose again, and I trust in Him to raise me too.”

But baptism is also a church’s act. It is not something we do alone. As a church, we baptize with the authority Jesus gave us — declaring that a person truly belongs to the household of faith. It’s how the embassy of heaven holds out a believer's passport and declares: “This is a citizen of God’s kingdom.”

Whether you're a new Christian or have been walking with Jesus for years but have never been baptized as a believer, we’d love to talk with you about this next step.
  • 📝 Note: These steps can happen in any order and at your own pace. We’ll walk with you every step of the way.

1. 📝 Fill Out the Baptism Application
This application gives us a chance to hear your story, understand your experience, and walk with you in clarity and encouragement. It includes space to reflect on the Gospel, your testimony, and your understanding of baptism.

📩 When you’re ready, bring the completed form to a pastor or email it to [email protected]

2. 🧠 Attend the Baptism Class
Before being baptized, we ask every candidate to attend four short baptism sessions where we walk through:
  • What baptism means and doesn’t mean
  • Why baptism is a picture of the Gospel
  • How baptism connects to membership and life in the church
  • What it looks like to follow Christ publicly and faithfully
These sessions are scheduled flexibly, based on your availability. Reach out to a pastor and we’ll find a time that works.

3. 👋 Meet with a Pastor
This is a friendly, informal conversation where we:
  • Hear your testimony of faith
  • Talk through anything in the application or class that needs clarification
  • Answer any questions you may have
  • Walk with you toward next steps (including scheduling your baptism!)
You don’t have to be nervous — this is a joyful process, and we’ll be with you every step of the way.

What Happens Next?Once all three steps are complete and your baptism is scheduled, we’ll share your story with the congregation and celebrate together as you’re baptized publicly in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Still Have Questions?
We’d love to talk more with you. Reach out anytime at [email protected] or speak with a pastor after the service.
